If you have listened to FIFA's official Worldcup anthem: Shakira's 'Waka Waka' song, you must have noticed the similarity between that song and the 1980s classic from the Cameroonian group Zangalewa.

Yes, you heard it well. The chorus of Shakira's song is a copy of the Cameroonian pop song. The band, however, did not seem to have been informed about the 'borrowing'.
The word soon spread. And people around the world expressed their surprise and anger.
But at a recent press conference in Douala, Didier Edo, Manager of the Zangalewa band told the press that Shakira and her producer have agreed to do a settlement of the matter.
Shakira has agreed to pay compensation to the creator of the song.
