Former Liberian president Charles Taylor refuses to attend his war crimes trial for a second day.
Judges have adjourned the case until Friday when the defence is due to reply to the prosecutor's closing arguments.
Taylor and defence lawyer Courtenay Griffiths had refused to attend much of Tuesday's hearing after the court denied the defence the right to file its final documentation in the case because they missed a January deadline to submit it.
Griffiths has since lodged a request to appeal the decision denying him the right to file the documentation and has said he will boycott proceedings until the appeal is ruled upon.
