Somalia has been worst affected by the current drought in the Horn of Africa. On Tuesday, the Somali government relocated more than 4,000 families from drought-affected regions to a refugee camp in the capital, Mogadishu.

Abdi Hajji Hussein, RNW’s correspondent in Somali, visited the camp run by the National Drought Committee.

Drought in African countries is not a new subject.And it is the high time that African countries learn't to be more independent.The governments need to look for long term solutions and not short term solutions such as foreign donations.for more on this click on.
