Seasonal Snapshots - Mud, mud glorious mud in the DRC

Published on : 19 August 2011 - 5:32pm | By RNW Africa Desk (Photo: Passy Mubalama )
More about:

Where in Africa can you find the most beautiful season? We are leaving the answer up to you... All you have to do is to upload a photo you have taken of an African season onto our Facebook page. Whoever receives the most 'likes' on our page will win a Canon digital camera!

In the meantime, to spark your imagination, during the month of August we are asking our African correspondents to send us their 'seasonal snaps'. Today we feature a photo taken by RNW correspondent, Passy Mubalama from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Mudbathing
It always amuses me as a journalist to find pigs happily bathing away in the stagnant mud. This photo was taken near the Masisi region in the Nord-Kivu Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Don't forget to vote for your favourite picture on our Facebook page.
