Liberia's Truth and Reconciliation Commission has called for Liberian President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf to be barred from civic duties for 30 years.
The commission says President Johnson-Sirleaf played an important role in the1989 - 2003 civil wars and has placed her on a list, along with people it calls "the financiers and political leaders of the different warring factions". Also included on the list are various ministers in Mrs Johnson-Sirleaf's government.
Speaking at a commission hearing, Mrs Johnson-Sirleaf admitted to collecting money in the 1980s for the then rebel leader Charles Taylor but denies being a part of Mr Taylor's rebel movement.
