Dutch football coach Guus Hiddink will be national coach for the Ivory Coast team during the World Cup in South Africa reports Dutch public broadcaster NOS.
Hiddink will be employed from 15 May to 15 July by Ivory Coast if he can show within ten days that his contract with Russia has been dissolved.
Hiddink has coached world cup teams for the Netherlands in 1998, South Korea in 2002 and Australia in 2006. In August he is due to become national coach for Turkey, after Turkey failed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup.
