Dutch police have issued a nationwide Amber Alert after a seven-year-old girl was dragged into a car outside her school in the central town of Ede. She is still missing. Police have said they are assuming the abduction is connected to "a family problem".
The Amber Alert is calling on witnesses to come forward. It is named after an American girl who was abducted and murdered in Dallas in 1996.
It is the second time such an alert has been issued in the Netherlands. In February the alarm was raised when a boy in Rotterdam disappeared. He was found unharmed.
