The Boss performs at Pinkpop

Published on 31 May 2009 - 1:23pm
More about:

The first day of the Pinkpop festival in Landgraaf in the southernmost Dutch Province of Limburg has ended on Saturday with an almost three-hour long performance by Bruce Springsteen. The Boss and his E-Street Band sang well-known hits such as Glory Days and Dancing in the Dark.

The line up for the three-day pop festival includes James Morrisson and Krezip. A last minute replacement had to be found for Depeche Mode after the band pulled out due to illness. Dutch band Krezip is planning to break up at the end of June. So this will be their farewell performance.

Tickets to the 40th edition of the pop festival were sold out in a record 18 minutes.
