The African Union has announced sanctions against members of Guinea's junta.
Their bank accounts are to be frozen and visas for trips abroad are to be refused.
Ordinary Guineans will not be affected by the measures. The AU decided not to imposed trade sanctions as they would only hurt the Guinean people.
Captain Moussa Dadis Camara's junta is becoming increasingly isolated. Earlier the European Union announced a weapons embargo and some of the junta leaders are not allowed into the United States.
The international measures are in response to a violent crackdown of a demonstration in Conakry last month, in which human rights organisations say 157 people were killed.
